MESSAGE FROM THE HON LOUISE ASHER, MP
I am pleased to inform you that nominations are now open for the Victorian Government’s inaugural Victorian International Education Awards.
These prestigious awards are an initiative to reward excellence in international education and acknowledge the unique, valuable and diverse contribution made by international students to Victorian communities and education institutions.
The Awards acknowledge education providers who demonstrate outstanding service and program provision to international students and students who have demonstrated high levels of academic achievement and contributed to the internationalisation of their institution and the broader Victorian community.
Winners of the student awards will be awarded a scholarship of $10,000 to contribute to their study in Victoria.
Nominations are now open to current Victorian international education students and applications close 11 September 2013.
I encourage students that meet the eligibility criteria to apply and to seek endorsement from their current education provider.
I look forward to receiving an enthusiastic response from high quality candidates.
